Bahri Genç was born in Erzurum, Turkey in 1963. He started his education at İ.D.G.S.A in 1982 and graduated from Mimar Sinan University Fine Arts Faculty in 1992. Genç started his first personal exhibitions 1990. Today his is works are exhibited in many museums such as Istanbul Press Museum, Izmir State Painting and Sculpture Museum, Balıkesir Devrim Erbil Museum. In 1995, Genç was invited to Dusseldorf, Germany by Nazar Holiday Company. He painted here for about a month. He was also teaching in the Department of Basic Art at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University for 4 academic years, also worked as a teacher in other schools between 1997-2003.
